<image:title>You Are Here - Gregory II</image:title>
<image:caption>Gregory II is referred to as a Poet. He’s coming on the scene with vibrant rhymes, unique voice and his style is very appealing to people’s ear. He catches people’s attention by his blunt truthness and storytelling in his music. He’s born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is just the beginning of Gregory II. He created PoetryAndChillOKC in 2017 on the Eastside of Oklahoma City. PoetryAndChillOKC is a home for ALL talent across the world with Open Mic events. We offer a platform for artists to showcase their talent, promote new music, projects, books, etc. We also started a college tour that now offer open mic nights on the college campuses in collaboration with and organization from the school this past spring of 2019 and have been to over 30 major universities less than a year. We’ll be doing a spring 2020 college tour which has 16 colleges booked so far. He also created a Nonprofit PoetryAndChill Kids. We are now doing after school workshops at various locations in Oklahoma City and multiple schools in Oklahoma City School District and Putnam City District. These workshops are open to the community or depending on the school open to students for free to come learn and have fun! We will have a variety of people from the community come and teach at the workshop from poetry, music, marketing, and more! The Poetry and Chill Workshop is an opportunity for individuals to express their thoughts, feelings, and gifts of writing. It is also a chance for individuals to think critically, gain knowledge and information, and grow within themselves. We have been featured on OK Gazette, News9, News 5, and FOX25.</image:caption>

She’s performed original commissioned poems for numerous organizations including Factory Obscura, the Paseo Arts Association, Marilyn Artus’s HerFlag, and romy owens’s Under Her Wing Was the Universe. <image:title>You Are Here - Groovemeant Community</image:title>
<image:caption>Alfonso Finest Pulé was born in Chicago and aised in Los Angeles, where he began streetdancing at the age of 7 -8 on the famous Hollywood & Highlands in Hollywood, alongside streetdance legends and family when Hip Hop, Street and Break dancing started to flourish. "It became a part of my lifestyle which ignited my passion to keep sharing my art with others without the pursuit of riches. Only for the love of it. On many occasions I walked away from dance to pursue sports as a teen but stayed attached & danced heavy in the Club and underground streetdance scene in Los Angeles. With some of the dance industry's best and streetdance legends. The dance community in Los Angeles was then and still today, as strong and vibrant as was when I was young. When I moved to OKC in 2011 I saw the city lacked the same entertainment I was use to participating in although I came here to continue a career as a Non Destructive Testing Technician (Xray Technician). I became friends with local streetdancers, the Linked church and Breakthough HipHop which connected me to many underprivileged children and adults seeking refuge in the same art form but were lacking resources / connections to the dance world. The Groovemeant Community was then created." The Groovemeant Community is a streetdancer's alliance / movement created to connect the amazing street talent in our city to the neighboring professional dance and OKC community. The objective has been to gather as many of our underprivileged inner city youth and beyond, plus young adults and offer them FREE high quality streetdance workshops (based off the principle of hip hop and streetdance styles), free movement / control classes plus guidance to connect and pursue their personal dance dream. An opportunity they may have not had accessible, physically or financially on their own. Although workshops are channeled through accessible studios and dance locations around the city, our home of choice is the Sonic Amphitheater stage on the Bricktown canal in Bricktown OKC. The mecca for okc street performers. 11years ago Team Swoosh / OKC Dellt started performing on that amazing stage and 91/2 years to date, the Groovemeant has helped keep it consistent, while producing some of the largest crowds seen on the famous canal. Groovemeant kidz is our mentorship program that focuses solely on developing young children to compete and showcase on many platforms. From paid gigs to music videos or working as dancers / entertainers for great organizations like the Oklahoma City Thunder. This streetdance culture is my passion. The Groovemeant community has done work or performed for the following. -Weokie Federal Credit Union (Social Media Commercial) -UCO School of Business (Student recruitment Video) -2014 & 2015 Langston University Women's Basketball Homecoming halftime show -OKC Public Schools (After Schools Program showcase and performances) -OKC Police Department Annual Basketball Youth program -2017 - 2019 Destined To Dance Awards winners and performers -2018 - 2019 Plush Fashion Showcase. performance for Suicide prevention -Featured on KFOR - RISE AND SHINE "Adventures with Ashley" -Full story and Interview with Cecilia Hernandez-Cromwell (Telemundo Oklahoma) Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/theGroovemeantCommunity/?ref=share</image:caption>
